Product Information:
The Force Digital Microcentrifuge line has been reengineered for higher
performance and quieter operation. The line now includes five models with
maximum rcf ranging from 5000 x g to 16,000 x g. All of the Force
microcentrifuges feature microprocessor control, digital set and display of time
and rpm/rcf and are supplied complete with rotor.
Microprocessor control
State of the art microprocessors allow tight control over operation. The
large digital displays and membrane keypads provide for precise setting of
operating parameters and accurate representation of their values during a run.
Speed can be set and displayed in rpm or g-force.
Enhanced performance
Force microcentrifuges are engineered to create and air flow that will keep
samples cool and reduce rotor noise. The high speed models (Force 1418, 1618 and
1624) include brushless, maintenance free motors for fast acceleration and
smooth operation. All of the Force units are cold room compatible.
Bench saving design
Advances in technology, such as smaller motors, compact microprocessors and
durable, lightweight plastics have allowed the creation of powerful units that
require a minimum of space. Although these centrifuges are small, quality and
durability have not been sacrificed.
Complete with rotor
The Force 512 and 712 are supplied with 12 place rotors. The Force 1418 and 1618
are supplied with 18 place rotors while the Force 1624 comes complete with a
high capacity 24 place rotor. All of the rotors have snap-on covers and
individual slots to support tubes and reduce the incidence of tube failure. All
the rotors accept 1.5/2.0ml tubes directly and smaller tubes with adapters. The
rotors are easily removed for cleaning and autoclaving.
